Job description:Role in the organization: Works closely with the store staff in the region to implement, execute the VM principles and guidelines as per the corporate instructions
Knowledge of VM principles and Techniques, Knowledge of finishes & materials/ Interior design, Knowledge of cost of material, Creative / Design / Aesthetic Orientation Vendor Management ]
Responsibilty:
. To execute and implement the VM principles and display plans as designed by the corporate VM at the stores and ensure the stores in the region have a uniform look and feel
. To identify vendors at the regional level for sourcing props, accessories and other VM materials required at the stores
. To negotiate the best possible rates with the Vendors and get it approved from Head Office
. To coordinate and collect the photographs of all window displays in the stores of the region and ensure they are sent to the corporate team as per deadline
. To train and coach the store staff to interperet the VM guidelines properly
. To identify and mentor VM champions at the store
. To be able to highlight and suggest how to adapt corporate VM guidelines to suit the regional trend or to cater to a local event with focus on corporate priorities and Fabindia brand ethos
